Xiaozhou Fan
Co-Founder
Xiaozhou "Jo" Fan is the founder of Global Voyage and is responsible for student development, recruitment, and management of student education programs.
Jo recently graduated summa cum laude from George Washington University, majoring in International Affairs and Economics. When in high school, Xiaozhou was selected to study in an American top private high school for one year on a full-scholarship and then decided to return to the U.S. for college. When in college, Xiaozhou taught TOEFL at the most competitive English training institution in China and won many teaching awards. Xiaozhou also worked for the international scholars' office at Edmund Burke School to assist international students and their parents with communication issues, academic planning, as well as other barriers the students encountered in both school and host families.
Julian Panero
Co-Founder
Julian Panero is founder of Global Voyage and is responsible for business development, admissions, and legal affairs.
Julian graudated summa cum laude from The George Washington University with a double major in Chinese and Economics. Julian is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has spoken as a representative of cultural exchange between the U.S. and China for many notable figures, including the Vice Premier of China, Liu Yandong; the Chinese Minister-Counsellor of Education Affairs, Fang Maotian; and the Ambassador of China to the United States, Cui Tiankai. He also received a Fulbright scholarship to do research and study Chinese language two years ago.
